Meet Dorothy, a spunky, near-delinquent yet kind-hearted teenager just trying to get by, but somehow can never sit still in the face of danger. After barely arriving to high school on time, Dorothy encounters billionaire heiress Constance Grove and unbeknownst to either of them, this chance meeting sets into motion an ancient, mystical prophecy and it is soon revealed that Dorothy is a bona fide witch, but not just any type of witch, a Time Witch, a breed of magical users who were thought to be long extinct. Realizing Dorothy’s situation, Constance, also revealed to be a witch of a different sect and a vigilante by night, takes it upon herself to train the young witch and put a roof over her head, despite the teenage melodrama and the risk it poses to her own magical legacy. The newly awakened magical powers within Dorothy alert the rest of the magical realm of the prophecy’s continuation. Where some are joyous for this news, others make it their mission to thwart Dorothy and stop her magical development at all costs. Dorothy is a down on her luck, rough around the edges teenager, who is bitter about the world around her yet retains a sense of justice. It’s hard for her to talk to others and make friends, but when she sees someone being bullied, she is the first to defend them. For her entire life, she’s always had a bit of a sixth sense about things happening around her, once this is revealed to be a quirk of her magical ability she commits to deepening her skills and helping Constance protect the world, one misstep at a time.

Her father was infamous for his work as the president of Grove Corp, but in secret he was also a prolific vigilante, think Batman in his heydey. Constance hopes to follow in his footsteps and do good in the world, despite not having the same magical abilities. She also hopes to ensure that the ancient prophecy of the time witch can come to fruition because only then can magic continue to exist in the world.
